Getting energy from currents AND wind

Japan has released the world’s first floating wind current turbine plant.  It will produce electricity from both the wind and the currents.  How efficient! According to the article, the device can effectively channel the weakest of tides and harshest of winds to generate electricity.  It will be interesting to see if it withstands all kinds of weather and how efficient it is when the currents or winds are very strong.
